COVID19 RULES FOR RIVERS

LONG EATON VICTORIA ANGLING SOCIETY
Rules for the re-opening of the Rivers
during the Restricted period due to Covid -19
- Fishing is available to Full Society Members ONLY
Members MUST be in possession of the current 2020/21 Membership Book and a current Environment Agency Rod Licence. (see website/Facebook for information)
- Please be aware of all Society Rules.
- Members should read all appropriate guidelines issued by Angling Trust and all information on the LEVAS website and Facebook site
- Members who may have Covid-19 symptoms are asked to stay away until they are tested clear
- Members are reminded that they should travel alone unless with someone from the same household.
- ALL members are advised to wear protective gloves and use a suitable hand sanitiser. Remember the virus can exist on surfaces for several days.
- Members are instructed to park their vehicles sensibly with due regard to others. Remember to maintain social distancing when parking your vehicle.
- Members are instructed to read any signage along the river and ensure they are fishing in accordance with all the rules.
- In order to ensure that compliance with the recommended 15 metres distance between anglers is maintained members MUST ONLY fish from the identified swims all of which are at least 18 metres apart
- ALL members MUST maintain the minimum 2metres social distancing at all times. DO NOT assemble in huddles in a bivvie or similar
- Do NOT impede the footpaths when fishing
- Close ALL gates
- Society bailiffs will be patrolling throughout the day . Any member contravening these rules may be asked to leave the fishery
