GRANGE POND TO OPEN ON FRIDAY 15 MAY 2020

LONG EATON VICTORIA ANGLING SOCIETY

GRANGE POND will be open for members to fish from Friday 15 May 2020. Please ensure that the following rules are strictly adhered to:

Rules for the re-opening of Grange Pond during the

restricted period due to Covid -19

  1. Members MUST be in possession of the current 2020/21 Membership Book and a current Environment Agency Rod Licence. (see website/Facebook for information)
  2. Please be aware of all Society Rules (NB: re fishing at Grange Pond).
  3. Members should read all appropriate guidelines issued by Angling Trust and all information on the LEVAS website and Facebook site.
  4. Members who may have Covid-19 symptoms are asked to stay away until they are tested clear.
  5. Members are reminded that they should travel alone unless with someone from the same household.
  6. ALL members MUST wear protective gloves particularly when operating gates and/or use a suitable hand sanitiser.
  7. Members are instructed to park their vehicles sensibly with regard to others. Remember to maintain social distancing in the car park.
  8. Members are instructed to follow the signs at the Pond. These will assist in getting around the Pond easily and as safely as possible.
  9. In order to ensure that compliance with the recommended 15 metres distance between anglers is met, ONLY the following pegs will be available for members to use. N B :   1st come 1st served basis

        

    1, 4, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 16, 19, 21, 23, 25, 27, 29.

 

If all pegs are taken please go home and perhaps try later.

ALL other pegs are taped and MUST NOT be used.

  • One member per peg ONLY.
  • Only Members who are fishing are allowed to be at the Pond. You

MUST NOT wander around the Pond.

  • Society bailiffs will be present. Any member contravening these rules may be asked to leave the fishery
