The LEVAS Match anglers fished their latest Championship match, also for the Kathleen Smith Cup, on Newcastle Lake at Springvale Fishery (North Notts).

In spite of near gale force gusts of wind and a few rain showers, plenty of small fish were caught, with ide dominating many of the leading catches, alongside small carp, crucian carp, tench and the odd skimmer.
