URGENT MESSAGE FROM PAUL WHEELDON (HEAD BAILIFF)

GRANGE POND UPDATE & WORK PARTY REQUEST

Hi All

It's come to that time again when I need to ask you all for your help. The Pond is now low enough to reopen some pegs, but I can't reopen them until we have had a good cleanup.

So, on Saturday (20 January 2024) I am organising a Working Party to get the Pond open.   I need your help to do this, so if you have an hour or two to assist from 10 am onwards it would be a big help.  Please remember that if I can't get it cleaned up, I can't reopen it, so it's up to us all to get it open.

I will need rakes, wheelbarrows and man/lady power.  A word of warning, it is bad, ten times worse than last time! It's very, very muddy and slippery so please wear your wellies.  If you can make it please be careful.  There are trees to be cut, banks to be raked and islands to put back into place. If you can make it please message me on Facebook or comment on the LEVAS GRANGE POND Facebook page.

Thanks all, Paul
