Our annual presentation evening was held last night at Brennans’ (Long Eaton) and was attended by around 40 members and friends.

After an excellent hot & cold Buffet, the club's trophies, in the absence of President John Adams, were presented to the winners by active veteran match angler (and an ex- National Angling Champion) Ivan Carrier.

The successful anglers from the 2018 campaign are all shown collecting their trophies.

Dave Cotterill won the prestigious Championship after an epic battle with runner up Rob Pembridge and third placed Steve Hoult. The success attained by these three are reflected in the other trophies they collected on the evening.

Committee member Rob Pembridge was elected at the "Member of the Year" in recognition of his excellent work on behalf of LEVAS, especially for his oversight and practical contribution towards the continued improvements at Grange Pond, and was awarded that trophy by General Secretary David Kent - who himself had a very successful season in winning trophies.

Other winners were: Les Smedley; Paul Richardson (another multiple winner); John Adamson; Keith White; Paul Skinner and Malc Munn.

Following the presentation (during drinks and chat time) Dave Kent ran a quiz, and the evening ended with an excellent raffle (12 good prizes), and more chat.

Members may now look forward the forthcoming 2019 Match Campaign which commences on 12 May on the Donno Lake at Rycroft Fishery.
