Great News - Grange pond to re-open tomorrow (10th March) after yet another closure due to flooding.

Our Head Bailiff, Paul Wheeldon, who led a work party on Grange Pond today to clear away debris left by the flooding, has sent the following message:

"Hi All,

The Pond will reopen tomorrow (Sunday 10th).  All pegs are open apart from 13 ,14 and 15 and the path between 16 and 15 is also closed.

Most pegs are clear of all water, but some have a little water on them.  If you choose to fish a peg with water on it you must still fish/sit on the platform not from the bank. The banks are very very muddy and slippery, so please be careful walking to your pegs.  If the banks get any worse with people walking up and down their pegs, then I will be closing some pegs before they get too bad.
