WEBSITE & PRESS OFFICER RESIGNS (23 MARCH 2021)

Just to inform readers of this site, on 23 March 2021 I resigned from my position as Website and Press Officer of LEVAS, a post that I had held since it was introduced in March 2006.  I felt that I had become so "out of touch" with the views of many of the Committee and Officers that I could no longer support many of their actions, which I found to be personally frustrating.  

As well as this website, this also means that I no longer have any official input to the LEVAS Facebook pages, which have been taken over by Paul Wheeldon.  Paul intends to close all Facebook pages in early May.  He will open new pages for Grange Pond and Long Eaton Victoria AS, but these will be for MEMBERS ONLY, with the latter used only to give information to members.

Not wishing to see LEVAS suffer, until a replacement Website Officer is elected, I have offered to update this site with any official information that they emailed to me (as Word or Excel attachments).  Up to now (26 April) this offer has not been taken up.

I apologise for the lack of news and information for readers (members and non members alike).  I would like to thank you all for your positive support over the last 15 years. This will be my final comment on this site.
